To all those that wanted the border wall. I want to say to the ones that support Donald J. Trump that wanted the border wall at whatever cost criticizing Trump for caving in to reopen the government it shouldn't took thirty -five to open the government when you have federal workers...

In response to your article, "The Media Botched the Covington Catholic Story - And the damage to their credibility will be lasting"..... I read your article. I have spent days on social media. I wrote the appropriate well-penned letters. But, your article was another reminder of the most glaring issues - those that exacerbate everything - for people of color. The specifics of the issue aside, there are two glaring issues that the reporter and The Atlantic are perpetuating: 1. Where is this level of remorse and/or call to "responsible reporting" when those involved are Black? Where is this level of "ethics for freelance...." when the subjects are Black? We - literally - never see it. 2. The article was just another opportunity for mainstream media to make these boys into angels...

Hello Prime Minister Netanyahu, I would like to introduce myself, delve into philosophy and the Word of God, then related to that philosophy and Bible meditation I want to request that you make a policy decision to amend the civil laws of Israel for the benefit of Israeli citizens. My name is Tyler Finn, I am an American and I deeply love Israel and her people. I love GOD. I deeply embrace my American heritage and culture, its ideals, its independence and strength, and its liberty, all these which comes from God and goes back to God. For God. I believe Yeshua is the Messiah of Israel - but not only of Israel but of the whole World and He takes away our sins. The land is blessed and given to the Jewish people forever. That's God's Truth and Word. People who belong to God should...

To all workers. The workers that force to work without getting paid thanks to particular Donald J. Trump it really a shame that you workers are getting treated badly by this guy through no fault of your own. You workers shouldn't have to beg this moron for your jobs nor should you be treated as charity cases. He perhaps doesn't understand nor that is concern that every day americans that work paycheck to paycheck to pay for rent...

To whom it may concern, As accusations continue to be made that Russia infiltrated the NRA, why do companies continue their sponsorship with the NRA? As evidence mounts with the guilty plea from Maria Butina, wouldn't it be prudent to sever ties before a potential public fallout? I understand that being part of the NRA team may help get to your target audience but so may the stance, "I may not make an honest buck, but I’m 100% American and I don’t work for no two-bit (Russian)." Regards, Richard

I like to say to the democrats in congress not to give in to Donald J. Trump demands for a wall .yes border security is needed more officers technology etc but not a ridiculous wall that isn't affected plus if you give in to Donald Trump 's demands and his way thinking you're basically saying that immigrants isn't allow in this country to make better lives for themselves saying to them they're not welcome is the same way of thinking...

Christmas Tears I am a 68 year old man. I’ve worked hard my whole life and have little to show for it with just a limited S.S. income and my home. I’ve lived through a lot of history and some very hard times. I cried when my marriage failed, I cried as family members passed, I cried as friends passed. Through it all I have grown accustomed to loss and become fairly resilient. It has been many years since I have cried or really felt sorrow, but this season as Christmas approaches I find myself brought to tears more and more often. I don’t cry for the reasons you might expect though. I don’t cry for loneliness or any of the other things that old men often do. I find myself in tears when I see an ad for the ASPCA and think about all the...

“To renew our unity, we only need to remember our values. We have never been held together by blood or background. We are bound by things of the spirit, by shared commitments to common ideals. At our best, we practice empathy, imagining ourselves in the lives and circumstances of others. This is the bridge across our nation’s deepest divisions.” - George W. Bush, at the memorial service for slain Dallas police officers, July 12, 2016. “And here is what I have to say, finally: Let’s invite one another in. Maybe then we can begin to fear less, to make fewer wrong assumptions, to let go of the biases and stereotypes that unnecessarily divide us. Maybe we can better embrace the ways we are the same.” - Michelle Obama, from the Epilogue of her book Becoming (2018, Crown Publishing...
