Crime

Dear Prince Hamdan, I hope this letter finds you well. This is to raise my concern on the widespread and increasing number of impostors and scammers who introduce themselves as you, lure women for love and marriage, and eventually extort money from them. This is not to say that you are at all connected to them but I find many reasons to believe that on top of the usual police investigation, you are a critical character who can put a stop on this international crime. The following are my reasons: 1. Of all the popular figures who are being impersonated for fraud, you are the only one who has the most available resources online from photos to videos. Your adventures and life in general are so open to the public. Copies of videos and photos are everywhere which are used by scammers to...

We have video of Former Vice President Joe Biden admitting, ON CAMERA, that he committed a crime by withholding $1bn in aid to the Ukrainian government if they do not fire a prosecutor that was investigating a company that Hunter Biden, son of Joe Biden, worked for. It has also been reported by sources not friendly to The President, that Joe was aware of this and that the prosecutor was seeking an interview with Hunter Biden. This is clearly a "quid pro quo" and even Chris Cuomo over at CNN, another source not friendly nor fair to The President, admitted this is "quid pro quo" https://www.foxnews.com/media/cnn-chris-cuomo-biden-quid-pro-quo.amp. This is a crime. Here's my question: Does the mere act of running for the Presidency of the United States, grant some sort of immunity...

When an evil, hateful person opens fire on a crowd, the number of innocent victims need never be more than one. All it takes is one selfless bystander who’s mentally prepared to sacrifice their own life so countless others can live. Another noble soul(s) may be needed to take the shooter down, but the willingness of one person to lead the charge is key. Seriously. If someone rushes a would-be assailant, the shooter must refocus on shooting the Good Samaritan. Ideally, that good soul will shout “join the charge” to further confuzzle the attacker. Others who’ve mentally prepared themselves for such a moment can then rush in, tackle the shooter(s), and subdue them until help arrives. So, what will you do if you’re ever standing in a crowd when someone brandishing an assault rifle...

The case against germline editing Medical technology has advanced incredibly fast over the last century. In the early 20th century physicians prescribed radium contaminated water for the treatment of impotence and arthritis, intentionally collapsing the lungs of a tuberculosis patient to promote healing, treating syphilis with mercury, and giving morphine and mercury to teething babies. At the time these were acceptable treatments that we now know to be extremely hazardous. Today we can edit the very instructions for making a human and this has amazing potential to create humans who are resilient to disease, innately more intelligent, and who may possibly live twice as long. However, like the physicians of one hundred years ago the physicians of today don’t have the benefit of...

Yesterday I watched CNN after not watching the news for a couple of months. I have to take breaks away from those major cable news channels, but now I have something to say regarding Donald Trump and jerks like him. I have to call out Trump’s misogynistic behavior. I don't know why anyone would ride with Donald Trump unless they are like him. Like attracts like, and there’s way too many people still standing by him out of fear. These people don't realize or they don’t care how disrespectful and dishonorable Trump has been behaving for most of his life. He’s not even trying to deceive people. He acts and speaks like an arrogant, egotistical, wealthy, racist, misogynist. Donald Trump told us a while ago that he thinks it’s okay to grab women by the pu$$y. I would like to tell him that...

Slavery and racism are a very conversational topic. To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee has racism which is prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on the belief that one's own race is superior. During the 1900’s they had very big options on which was better blacks or whites. Racism is the result of slavery because slaves are illegal; now people are just racist. Slavery played a marginal role in the history of the Americas. Myth. African slaves were the only remedy for the labor shortages that plagued Europe's New World dominions. Fact about American slavery. The Catholic Church did not tolerate the mixture of Catholicism with traditional African religions. Myth. In Kongo and in Latin America, the Church did tolerate the mixture...

Rebecca L. Perry Covert Racism Stephen Lawrence, Michael Brown, Amadou Daillo, Patrick Dorismond, and so many more are victims of police brutality. All of these African-American men were innocent and unarmed. Lawrence was killed simply for being black. Brown was just a teenager when he was shot to death by a police officer for raising his hands to surrender. Daillo was shot 41 times for trying to enter his own apartment. Dorismond, was hanging out with a friend when an undercover police officer asked where he could get some weed. Soon after that, another officer shot him in the chest. The undercover officer confronted Dorismond because of his appearance. What got me thinking about racism was when I read the novel The Help by Kathryn Stockett. This novel took place...

Racism By Keaton Smith Times were a lot different than they were 200 years ago. We now have more technology, as in cellphones, car, airplanes, but what about the culture? How are things different there? Well, as of the law today everyone is equal, and everyone has an equal opportunity and chance. That hasn’t always been like that, and. Unfortunately, people of the white ethnicity would have people of the black ethnicity as slaves. There were segregated places everywhere and they would get bad treatment from everyone. Now that was only around 50 years ago which is mind boggling when you really think about it. How I stand on racism is pretty simple, I believe that it is very wrong and also that racism is probably never going to leave this planet because of the way people are raised...

Hello, You know who you are and you know what you did. Did hugging me in the office reception not satisfy you enough that you had to shove you hand down my jeans and try to claim what wasn't yours? Did the months of lying to HR and the police make you feel happy? because you managed to get away with just a slap on the wrist. Did the path you lead me down satisfy you? You lead me astray i thought it was normal to be grabbed after you got away with it, I thought it was normal to be raped, assaulted and used as a piece of meat for mens satisfaction. Did the blood dripping down my arms and thighs bring colour to you world? Did my suicide attempt finally help you breath? I have been giving a second chance and I am not letting you take that away from me, I am not letting...

Learning I'm an empath. This explains so much. What it doesn't explain is how after 23 years of you constantly invading my heart, soul, mind, the 5 years total of you invading my body, I realized something. I was manipulated by you. Your feelings became mine, I squashed my doubts and swallowed my "I'm not ready yet," just to make you "happy." That turned into 3 years of unprotected exploitation. Only God had my back, those things you did to me you did with others... Four years ago, I finally said, "no." I was ready to finally walk away, I had closure. Two years prior, I re-entered into a relationship with you, AGAIN, knowing you were not really mine. Your shiny, steel band winking on that finger, your wife next to you, approving, saying she enjoyed the "break" and that he wouldn't...
