Consumer Complaints

Dear Apple, Please react and replace our stain damaged Retina screens. For an increasing number of MBP Retina screens are loosing their AR or anti-glare coating. RESUME Recently the number of people registering at the Apple Support discussion thread and the FB group (links below) have increased rapidly. Users from around the world are reporting stains on their Macbook Retina screens. But Apple is brushing it off as "cosmetic", not covered by warranty. Furthermore they are blaming their customers for wrong cleaning, for having greasy and oily fingers and for carrying the laptops in bags. We the affected users are angry and frustrated, not least after banking our heads agains the closed doors of Apple’s Executive Relations in Ireland to be referred back to Apple Support...

BBC Audience Services PO Box 1922 Darlington DL3 0UR 11/03/15 To Whom It May Concern at BBC 2, I am shocked and appalled with the news today that Top Gear is to be suspended from the air for at least the next 2 weeks due to an alleged internal grievance case. Those who are being punished here are the licence fee payers...

The MD/CEO Coca Cola Nigeria and Worldwide Sir/Madam Let me start by saying a ‘Big kudos’ to your company for a fantastic idea, “Share A Coke”. It’s indeed an awesome innovation! But then let me quickly bring to your notice that following the wonderful strategy of share a coke, collect a coke or buy a coke, whatever name you call it. Where someone’s name is written on the (plastic) Coke bottle or Can. I have noticed with total dismay that ‘Nobody Has Shared or Bought any form or shape of Coke for me’! And this is because, according to my little research, your company hasn’t deemed it fit to include my name, BOLAJI/SNAZZY, on your ‘Share A Coke’ production plans. This is grossly unacceptable! Considering the fact that i own several t-shirts with an inscription of the above brand and...

Dear Telstra, I am writing to you regarding the 1DTEES Comp. Firstly a lot of people have gone to a lot of trouble if that be a multiple entry or just one. I thought the weekly prize winner was different then the major, I do not understand how the weekly prize winner can win tickets to a concert they have already won to go to. I thought the winners were announced tomorrow (4/2). I thought even though I hadn't been a weekly prize winner I had a chance at the major prize. I asked Telstra on Twitter and the lady who wrote back thought that too. Obviously not, I think this comp is unfair and unclear in the terms and conditions. I don't think this comp gave everyone ago, it has lead more then one of us to believe what I have written here to you. If you see my Twitter account @...

Rumours of Page 3’s demise have been premature. This is very good news for The Sun, because it means that everyone is furious about a photo of boobs on the third page, rather than what’s on the front cover. Indeed, most of the outrage over the front cover seems to be about poorly-constructed breast pun rather than the truly terrible thing. Allow me to draw your attention to the headline story–that’s the bit underneath the boob pun and to the right of the other boob pun. It might not look it, but that is a report about a woman who was kept as a slave and trafficked to rich and famous friends of her abuser between the ages of 15 and 18. New legal documents have been filed, with more detail, and this is how The Sun have chosen to report it: as a fun little royal romp. What does this...

Dear Mr. (name withheld), Thank you for reaching out to let us know your opinion of the Locally Laid Egg Company. Not enough of us stand up for what we believe and I appreciate the time it took to handwrite a letter. I also want to acknowledge your right to find our name vulgar and also to tell the grocery store owner and your friends your opinion that we are crude. So having respectfully listened to you, I ask that you hear me out. Here’s why we named our company, Locally Laid. First off, it’s completely demonstrative of what we are. We are the first pasture-raised egg company in the Upper Midwest providing you with eggs which are laid locally. More on the sassy part of the name in minute, but let’s look at local. It’s important. The average food product in this country...

Dear Urban Outfitters, My thirteen-year-old self thanks you for having provided trendy, vintage looking clothing at an affordable price. You are cheaper than Aritzia and edgier than American Apparel, and I have no doubt in my mind that you were my favorite clothing store. Emphasis on the “were.” I am now an adult. I can vote, legally drink and buy cigarettes and get to decide my own bedtime. I was brought up with a good sense of distinguishing between “right” and “wrong” and I would like to believe that I’m a good person. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not perfect, as a teenager that line between good and bad became a little burry, and I make mistakes like any other human does. But as I matured, I got my life back on track and I’m confident that I can judge when something someone does is...

I want to tell the following story because I think that too many times people fall victim to theft, or bad treatment from the airlines employees when they are traveling, with no support what so ever from those corporations. I mean they are getting greedier and greedier and giving less and less service. I have been traveling since I was maybe 18 months old, I am only 35 now but I have seen the changes : _Kids usually got a little something from the airline when flying be it a broach, a card deck, or crayons to color. That is not available anymore, or maybe my kids aren’t worthy enough…. _ A pillow and blanket were complimentary , now it is only for first/ business class _Earphones were free, now you have to pay 5 dollars for earphones that will...
