I lost hope and thought that we’ll get divorced soon. But then I decided to act on it. My wife got sick. She was constantly nervous because of problems at work, personal life, her failures and problems with children. She has lost 30 pounds and weighed about 90 pounds in her 35 years. She got very skinny, and was constantly crying. She was not a happy woman. She had suffered from continuing headaches, heart pain and jammed nerves in her back and ribs. She did not sleep well, falling asleep only in the morning and got tired very quickly during the day. Our relationship was on the verge of break up. Her beauty was leaving her somewhere, she had bags under her eyes, she was poking her head, and stopped taking care of herself. She refused to shoot the films and rejected any role...

I used to be one of those people, you know the ones, the rather irritating people who stand at a gig they have paid over the odds to be at taking photographs you are never really going to look at again and other people have no interest in looking at. Then I had an epiphany of sorts. Why am I standing here filming/taking photographs of a live event instead of watching it in all it’s glory. Admittedly I had very personal reasons as to why I was taking photographs at the Girls Aloud gig but in all honesty there weren’t many of us there that were there solely for the their musical (ahem) talents. However there I was stood at Download Festival having to watch KISS through someone’s android phone. This is when it hit me. For many years I have been of these inconsiderate people and now I am...

Dear Taylor Swift, I have read your open letter to Apple where you give your reasons for refusing to allow your album ‘1989′ to be included on their forthcoming Apple Music streaming service. (For reference: http://taylorswift.tumblr.com/post/122071902085/to-apple-love-taylor) I applaud it. It’s great to have someone with a huge following standing up for the rights of creative people and making a stand against the corporate behemoths who have so much power they can make or break someone’s career. For instance, you say: I’m sure you are aware that Apple Music will be offering a free 3 month trial to anyone who signs up for the service. I’m not sure you know that Apple Music will not be paying writers, producers, or artists for those three months. I find it to be shocking,...

To Apple, Love Taylor I write this to explain why I’ll be holding back my album, 1989, from the new streaming service, Apple Music. I feel this deserves an explanation because Apple has been and will continue to be one of my best partners in selling music and creating ways for me to connect with my fans. I respect the company and the truly ingenious minds that have created a legacy based on innovation and pushing the right boundaries. I’m sure you are aware that Apple Music will be offering a free 3 month trial to anyone who signs up for the service. I’m not sure you know that Apple Music will not be paying writers, producers, or artists for those three months. I find it to be shocking, disappointing, and completely unlike this historically progressive and generous company. This...

To whom it may Concern, I, like many others, am highly dissatisfied with the procedure used for the 2015 Fantasy Flight Worlds Championships registration. My chief complaints are that the registration process was: overly complicated, slow, and ticket sales opened at the least logical time. The choice to have a player cap on these events, while I understand if to be a necessity of logistical constraints, has also complicated matters of event availability this year; and when coupled with the inefficient process one must complete for registration, has cost many players seats in their game of choice. Your company has perennially touted this event as a gather of the best of the best to determine which players of you games deserve to hold the title of “World Champion”. I fear this year...

Dear Members of the “Big Brother” Season 14 Jury, Seriously, y’all are a bunch of butthurts. As a longtime fan of “Big Brother,” I am ashamed of you for voting for Ian to win “Big Brother 14″ over Dan. (Danielle, I can’t give you too many props for voting for Dan to win, because you only did so out of loyalty and loyalty in this game is bullshit. You should have voted for him because he deserved it.) The only reason you all voted for Ian over Dan was put best by Ian himself: he “played a slightly cleaner game.” That is the worst reason EVER to award someone $500,000. If the choice is between someone who played a dirty game and someone who played a clean game, I can see why someone might choose the saint over the sinner. But faced with two liars, I would pick the one who lied the...

Let me begin by saying that, I do in fact understand that I am a 34-year-old mother of 3. I am also a huge Taylor Swift fan. I have several friends who have given me grief for being such a "Swifty," but I simply do not care. Here is my open letter to Taylor Swift, explaining why I am head over heels in love with her. Dear Taylor Swift, You are adorable. Sometimes I pretend to be your beautiful, fancy older sister who gets to jet set with you all over the globe. You are remarkable. I am in awe of your song writing talents and ability to engineer social media. You are undoubtedly a genius. I am impressed with your musical talents, but also your business and marketing skills. You have become a very accomplished individual at a very young age. Being a mother, I am grateful to you as an...

My name is Jono, and I am passionate about the BBC. Like many others, I am a big fan of the hit shows that BBC Three has produced and I have grown up watching them for the last 11 years. After hearing Tony Hall's comments I set this petition up because I believe the organisation needs to be investing more in content for teenagers and young adults, not less. Scrapping Three, and relegating content to the internet with a much smaller budget, will be a big mistake. The BBC needs to cater for all ages, and this petition is designed to give young people a voice about these cut backs. BBC Three has produced exciting, original television programming for 16-34 year olds since 2002. It has been a launchpad for programmes like Being Human, Torchwood, Russell Howard's Good News, Mighty...

Dear Gamers, May 19th was a crucial date for all of us here at CD PROJEKT RED -- we released The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, our open world role-playing game that we had been hard at work on for over 3 years. Since day one, you have given us tons of positive feedback and support -- the sheer volume of emails we’ve gotten since launch simply congratulating us for our efforts is both epic and heartwarming, and I wish every developer comes to have such a fantastic community. In terms of media reception, we’re really humbled by the scores the game has received all around the world. With an average of 90+ on every platform, Wild Hunt is our dream coming true. I’d also like to take this opportunity to thank the four million gamers worldwide who bought The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt in the first two...

Every now and again a celebrity will post an open letter online and the internet will explode, either ridiculing them or heaping praise on them. Well the latter has just happened for Ariana Grande who wrote about how she was tired of not discussing her work and instead being asked about her relationships and also being referred to as someone's ex. I don't usually jump on the bandwagon of reading the musings of celebrities...often because I feel like it is a publicity stunt and they aren't even responsible for half the words that they've supposedly written. Anyway, I decided to check out Grande's letter and whilst I wouldn't disagree with what she is saying in parts, I also find it very naive and even unappreciative of the situation she is in. Asking her about her relationships is...
