Dear Rose,
Rose. That is what I would have named you. I don't know if that is still your name, but I named you after my mother. My mother every Sunday would come into my room before church and give me a rose. I kept the roses in a shoebox and knew one day I would name my first child, Rose. Reading this letter, it must mean you are 18 years old and have come looking for me and found this letter. I am about to be in labor with you in the next couple hours, and I had to write you before I gave you away to your new family. I want to share everything with you... all I can say is I am placing you in the hands of a woman that can take care of you better than I can.
The one thing I need you to know is that I love you. None of what is happening is your fault, and please never blame yourself for it. I know you probably have, and because of that I am sorry. I know what it is like to be a young woman scared and confused, and I want to share some love and wisdom with you.
1. Forgiveness. To forgive is the best gift you can give to others and most importantly yourself. Forgiveness will always set you free, dont waste life with hate in your heart. I hope you have forgiven me, I know you will have questons that will never be answered. I hope in your heart, you wil one day come to peace with those questions, and know, "You are beautiful, worthy, and loved."
2. Don't be afraid to fall in love. I did. Sometimes you fall in love with the wrong person that will teach you lessons about yourself, and sometimes you fall in love with the right person thats makes all the lessons worthwhile. Don't run away. I know it's hard not to, but that is what we are brought into this world to do...love
3. Have No Regrets..As heartbroken as I am, I know I can't give you the life you deserve. I know that may seem like an excuse, but it's true. I have no regrets and I hope with any hardship you go through, you won't either.
You are a force to be reckoned with.
I feel you dance inside me every day.
Know as hard as this may be to read, it was as diffciult to write.
I hope this letter brings you peace in whatever you are searching for, because I will always think, love, and cherish you for the rest of life. I love you, My Rose.

"Love Heals, heals and liberates. Do Right, Don't let anyone raise you from the way you have been raised. Know you will always have to make adaptions in love, relationships, in friends, in society, but don't let anyon change your mind. Remember this, you can always come home."
