I am sorry for your loss. You obviously pinned your hopes for the future on one woman and that didn't work out.

Now you are scared, angry and for many rioting instead of protesting because once you started shooting, vandalizing and attacking others you crossed the line. Peaceful protests are part of our country. Walking down the street chanting for change is part of our democracy.

Carrying signs with foul language, burning Mr. Trump in effigy, destroying property, attacking others and shredding and burning the American flag isn't protesting. That is rioting.

HOW DARE YOU BURN THE AMERICAN FLAG!!! The American flag is a symbol of freedom. That flag carries the blood of millions who have fought and died to allow you the right to PROTEST, not riot. That flag is what helps others come to this country hoping for a better life; the ability to live openly and in safety. Now thanks to the riots... not peaceful protest, a lot of the United States is scared. Our new president was elected legitimately. He was chosen fairly and if given the same chance you gave President Obama and the previous presidents, will hopefully do a good job. Not everyone will ever be happy.

I am sorry you are worried about not getting free college education or birth control and climate change. I am sorry you think every immigrant, legal or illegal will be rounded up and deported but this isn't going to happen. I hate that you are worried those with alternative lifestyles will be left out and treated with disrespect.

Trump isn't irrational or else he never would have made billions. He is smart enough to hire good, rational people to help him make the right decisions. He may act like a complete idiot and lash out and tweet without thinking but he has calmed down and deserves a chance to try to lead 320 + million people. That is a job that in my opinion only a fool would want. He has to try to please 320 + million people and you know that isn't going to happen.

The opposite party isn't innocent in this election. They ran a campaign based on fear and intimidation. They are just as culpable and if you calm down enough, you will realize they alienated a large crowd....those who are unemployed or underemployed. Those who worry everyday if they will be able to put food on the table or be able to afford health insurance for their family or even if they will keep their home.

There is a very large group of people who live in fear of their lives in inner cities who have also been ignored. They are promised everything except a chance to live in safety and peace. Where is the help they deserve and need? Where is the education they need and the jobs? Has our current or previous presidents done the job of taking care of them? From what I have seen, the answer is no. Obviously they felt the same way or they would have turned out in larger numbers if at all for your candidate.

What about the people who depend on coal mining, steel producing, industry of other types? Don't they deserve to have their jobs back? Clinton promised to shut down coal mining and didn't worry about what they were to do next. Don't they deserve to live good lives? I'm not talking about being wealthy but not having to take their families to McDonald's as a good night out. I'm talking about being able to afford medication for their children and the roof over their heads.

Don't all people in the United States deserve to have good lives; to be able to make a living wage and live in peace?

You carry signs saying LOVE TRUMPS HATE. Where is the love? You are abusing those who wanted a change. Again, the silent majority will not admit who they are because we are tired of being abused for wanting a better life for ourselves and our families. We are tired of wondering if our lives will ever matter to the rest of you.

You wanted us to vote for your candidate. Her party targeted young educated women and men along with wealthy elites. Where do we fit in to that life? We are the ones with our heads down, trying to make a living and treating others with respect. Your candidate had the president and his wife running President-Elect Trump down as if he as the son of Satan. They were also helped by the media who jumped on your candidate's wagon.

Rioters and bullies come in all shapes and sizes. The Silent Majority are all races, religion and sexes. We are all different economic, social and lifestyles. We all want peace but we are tired of the way our country was going. If your candidate had won, we wouldn't have protested. We would have accepted that democracy had prevailed.

We deserve the same respect we have given you. President Obama and your candidate should address the Nation and put an end to the rioting. President-Elect Trump should alleviate the fears of immigrants by letting them know they will be safe here.

I don't condone racial prejudice at all. We are all equal in the eyes of God and the law. I don't condone the hate and bullying happening because of this. Most of it is happening because people think this is a good time to act out; that they will not been punished because of everything going on now. I personally think EVERY RIOTER AND HATEMONGER need to be thrown in jail for a few months to think long and hard about what they were doing.

I belong to the Silent Majority. I am the person you see in Walmart, the person singing next to you in church. I am the person who held the door for you and said have a great day or nice to see you. I am also the person worrying about healthcare; if my husband is going to keep the hard found job he got or has. I am the woman who hopes all people in the United States get to live a good life.

I am the one who is good to others because I want to be NOT because it looks good on a resume, application or transcript. I am the person who believes in equality for all but realizes that I am not paid the same wage as a man, no matter my race. I realize that some people will always degrade others; especially those with an alternative lifestyle that they don't understand.

I am the one who voted for Trump because I want America to be a safe, prosperous, happy place for everyone to live. I am the Average American who doesn't want to worry about our cities becoming the next Aleppo or Mosul. I don't want to walk into a church, mosque, temple, etc and hope no one decides to target me because I choose to worship differently from you. I am the Average American who wants to be me; not a clone of everyone else.

I am an Average American and I approve this message.
