Thank you to my fellow Canadian citizens for not blaming me for terrorism.

I'm sorry that terrorists have hijacked my religion.

Thank you to those who are not deterred by hate mongering.

I'm sorry that there are so many wrong "facts" emerging re: Islam.

Thank you for thinking critically and for yourselves.

I'm sorry some people are trying so hard to divide us.

Thank you for not making me feel less Canadian than you.

I'm sorry that I even felt compelled to write this letter.
