Dear PM(Prime minister Narendra modiji) and FM(Finance Minister Arun jaitelyji).
I am big fan of BJP govt. and whatever work BJP has done so far is great in terms of increasing Govt. reserve by various means like
not decreasing fuel prices, implementing swach cess, increasing service tax, limiting gas subsidy to ltd earning class, etc. This gives me hope that govt. reserve will help the party to run indian govt. in better ways and they will create more opportunities and benefit to independent public of india.
But great disappointment when i see the budget from mr. Jaitely where instead of giving more focus on growth and opportunities their budget focus more on taxing more to middle class or lower section of people who save penny from thier monthly income which comes as part of EPF. This EPF helps us to live better in our retirement time and also help other family members in their bad times in old age.
Taxation policy on EPF is absolute Scrap, loot and increase disinterest on any of the government schemes. HOW CAN YOU IMPOSE TAX ON SOMEONES RETIREMENT CORPUS?????
WE ARE NOT IN NATION WHER MY GOVERNMENT WILL GIVE ME MONTHLY EXPENSE IF I AM JOBLESS OR RETIRED LIKE USA.
Absolute shocker from Arunji. This step will make people afraid of investing in any of the givernment scheme because goverment can change taxation policy at any point can eat your returns in the form of additional taxes on government investment schemes.
Arunji and Modiji i still have great faith and trust in you and beleive that this letter to you will change the taxation policy on EPF for this budget.
I am common middle class man and have very high dependency on my retirement corpus. I am just making an effort to make my democratic government to rethink on applying any taxes on any of the existing government scheme or retirement plans.
