Dear Society
As a member of "the Younger Generation" I ask what is it that you want from us? Are you trying to breed us as your successors and the next leaders? or are you trying take everything from us and make us examples to the world as failures? Yeah we're not perfect but you damn sure aren't prefect either. I know some members of the younger generation are known for smoking and drinking but the reality is you don't breed us the right way. You pressure us into being what we shouldn't. When we want to be something you make it impossible for us to reach. Education is what you preach. you brainwash these high school students into thinking that they would benefit from going to college right after high school. well the truth is they won't.
College isn't for everybody, not because they lack as students but because as human beings you portray college as this magical place where you're guaranteed to live a good life. A degree equals success. You pressure kids to go to college when they're not ready. you take money from kids and they end up living back home because you throw them into the debt pool.
Sure the kids have glory in college but why are schools saying they don't have enough money to fund programs when people are donations millions and millions to schools? The athletes from the D1 programs makes the school market able and make them a lot of money, and all they get is ramen 3x a day, pain, and a bunch of classwork? College is the transition point into the next stage of life, the least you can do is give us a free education. student's parents have to work extra hard to keep their children in school and some students live with the burden of the tuition bill hanging over their heads. Don't portray some these colleges as "poor" and that they only function off our tuition money. You can build all these cool facilities with donations? where does tuition money go? Don't put so much pressure on the kids, were young but we're not stupid.
We know how filthy the world is and we know that you categorize us below you. As a member of this younger generation, you won't brainwash us anymore. We'll be what we want to be.
One day you'll have to get off the throne, if not we'll kick you off.
