Hello, Dear Santa,
My name is Alexandra, I'm from Siberia! I'm 28. I know, I'm late with this wishing letter but I hope you can hear my wish any time of the year. I was extremely good girl throughout the all last year and I ask you to bring me this year two USA green cards for me and my partner. "Why, Alex?" - could you ask me. Dear Santa, because of horrible thing that surrounded me every day and I have no idea what to do.
- the food in the stores is very low quality and it is dangerous for our health, but the people who produces this products doesn't write the full and true information on the labels. No one wants to answer for this.
- the big guys in the Government made the law which calls me illegal because I'm gay. It's very bad because the police can punish me without any serious reason under cover of this law, and my neighbors became suspicious and unfriendly. I'm afraid for my girlfriend. She is not so resistant like me and cries a lot. People just hide the eyes.
- my best friend and I wanted to open the Coffeeshop with coffee to go and that cute super tasty muffins, you know, but what we have really recognized after month of efforts? We don't need to brew wonderful hot drinks to be able to trade, we need to pay a lot of imagine "taxes" to the huge pile of deputies and organizations. "That is the order of this place, don't care about your rights"...
- the country I live in is very aggressive but I'm not. So, I'm the object for an offensive critic just because I don't share the interests of the majority who supports the invading to the foreign countries and have no awe to presidents words. What do you recommend to do, Dear Santa? Which way I should answer to this position? Hit back or keep silence and try to be invisible?
- the Big Brother P has told me that I should hate some categories of people. Turkish and americans, germans and arabian, LGBT and much more another people but I don't want to hate and post about it in my wall in social network. I scared now because some people who showed opposite opinion in social net like me was arrested. We don't want to hate but the Government calls us haters of the regime. Everything is upside down.
- here in Russia does exist the group of people who named themselves "dog hunters". They poison homeless dogs. Please, open the Google, Santa, the first page of the searching about "dog hunters in Russia" will show you the darkest side of the people around me. Try to search "polar bear killed by cook", I have no comments I feel just despair. People who treats animal this way live in this country and I think this is not a good news. No one wants to investigate this disgusting behavior of people.
- the serious guys on TV and another media blame America and simple russian for the global problem of country instead of finding adequate solution. Why do you bring them gifts every year? Maybe they are right and this is my tires fault that the roads are so bad, according the words of some deputies?
- also I scared to be ill because sometimes here takes places some accidents where, for example, the surgeon beats his patient to death or just does nothing while the patient was in agony. It is unsafe to be ill in Russia. I do a lot of sport to have a good health.
- you can suggest me to go to the protest action to show the difference of my opinion. It could be better then nothing. But I tell you secretly: this is very dangerous if you live in Russia. You can easily lose your job or just accidentally get pulled or to get to the mental house, or something else could just happen with your live. Live here is a toy like the toys you're bringing to the children. Ildar Dadid is in jail now for 3 year because of several placards like "keep silence today and tomorrow they will come for you and the next one will keep silence too". Could you explain why the Constitution doesn't work? What calls human rights?
- to force kids to pay for sledding, park in Kaliningrad dumps sand on popular slope. Prohibition is a widespread practice here. So, no needs to bring a sledge as a gift. The arbitrariness of the deputies who have immunity of a deputy whatever they do or have ever done.
- one guy seriously want to prohibit you, Dear Santa, as an alien element of eastern ideology. Halloween too, by the way. I have no idea what he is talking about but he actually declares this proposal as a care about unstable mind of children. They want to mother us but in very weird, lame and ugly way.
- it's illegal now to write about the causes of people's suicides. If someone try and the try will be successful no media will write the truth. The Truth is undesirable thing here. What the truth is, Dear Santa? I think you know because you are very old and have an amazing white beard.
Well, Dear Santa, I want to be useful for the human and do good things but all what I feel here is scare and despair. I scare to speak, scare to be punish for who I am, scare to protest, scare to go to police and to the hospital, scare to eat food I have bought in store, scare to post pictures, scare to write this lines to you... Actually, I'm scare to live.
Please, help me and present me the most wanted gift ever - two little pieces of green plastic ID which are two tickets to the Freedom from the prison.
