An open letter to the DNC

To the DNC,

I'm writing to you shortly after the Nevada Caucus. I have concerns about where the party is going and who you believe we, the people, want to get us there. Since I've been able to vote (GWB 1) I've always leaned left. Each election I find myself starting in the middle but always end left. This is usually due to the crazy grandstanding coming from the right on issues that frankly aren't that important to me. It has always seemed to me get the left has approached elections with someone with a plan and a vision. Not with someone who can fling statements to rile up he party. Finally, this election I find myself agreeing with a candidate who finally seems to understand what the major issues are and what needs to be done. He's not running a campaign on whether or not abortions should be legal, the country should be run by the bible, schools should teach creationism and outlaw condoms. Bernie Sanders is talking about real ways our country can get back on track and normalize quality of life for everyone.

What I'm afraid of is that the DNC is trying so hard to get me, the person who has always voted with the party, to like a different candidate that you've forgotten that I can vote a different way. The audacity you've shown be ramming HRC down my throat has all but guaranteed I will not vote for her. Maybe I'll vote independent, maybe I'll vote for Trump (when he's not yelling obscenities he's said some things that mak sense), or worst of all, maybe I won't vote at all.

Between now and Super Tuesday I hope that you, the DNC, will take a long hard look at which candidate is actually garnering support of the people and not the banks, or super rich. Look at which candidate has started to inspire the apathetic generation (millennials). I'm not the only one who won't vote for the "establishment" candidate. Please stop rigging the system. Do you want to create a major third party candidate? Because that's how you get a major 3rd party candidate.
