Media Conformity

Our world today has reached a place in our destiny which both alarms and worries me greatly.
As I witness the current events taking place on the news I also have come to realize the fact that most people in the world today place too much trust in government and the media. Seems as if whatever or however the media reports on the masses just simply accept the views and opinions they spurt out from their pulpits of self rightiousness.
This does not, and should not have to be the case. Our government does the same to us by gaining our trust by convincing us to accept they correct in World concerns. This is a hazardous and pitiful place for America to be.
We should all be individuals with our own separate thoughts, beliefs, and convictions without intervention or unwanted advice from media and government figures.
People today appear to be afraid of speaking up on or defending their beliefs for concern over being rejected or ridiculed by the rest of the world. This is wrong, people should be able to express a view on a political or news subject without being afraid to do so.
History will show that when a race, or country becomes complacent or too dependant on government bad things usually follow. We in this country need new leaders with a vision and a respect for its people. If America continues down the dark road we have become lost on our country is doomed.
There are people in the world today who are watching us in this country with hateful and aspiring eyes. These people are patent and persistant. They look for our weakness, our vulnerabilities, and our emotional condition. They are like a viper that waits in the dark for its prey to become off gaurd. Then they pounce and inject their poison.
Our country can become strong, respected, and admired again if we heed the warnings now before it's too late to matter. It's going to take hard work, sacrifice, and dedication to get our country back to its proper place in the world, but it can be done.
What we need now is a change in government and a major attitude adjustment. We are a nation of immigrated cultures from all around the world. There is nothing wrong with that, but we have reached a point in our growth where it's time to either shrink the size of the gates to America or close them for a while. Even the best ingredients don't make a good stew until you put the lid on and allow it to simmer for a spell.
I love my country and all it stands for. The fact is though that America was founded in a very different world and time than now. The world has become complicated and stressfull. We face much more advanced and dangerous foes today than we did two hundred years ago.
Until the government, media, and liberals are willing to accept and act on these issues they will only become worse, and eventually pull America down to a third world level. I for one do not want to live to see the day our nation implodes into the black hole of history where there is no return.
