Dear Senator Sanders,
Greetings and Salutations! Thank you for your steadfast devotion to equality and justice for all. I hope this letter greets you with genuine fervor and wholehearted seriousness.
First, a few personal details to paint my point of view in the proper light:
I am a Father and Husband.
I am logical and reasonable.
I am in love with veritable truth.
I am a disabled U.S. Marine Corps Veteran.
I am an unemployed college graduate.
I have ever increasing student debt with no real devices for repayment.
I have grown disenchanted with our form of government.
I display the characteristics of a Direct Social Democrat, but do not identify with any labels.
I am writing you this, an open letter, to address a few points from your campaign, and more specifically; your recent victory speech in New Hampshire. Congratulations! However, It has become unbearable for me to hear you speak of ‘Revolution’ and ‘Oligarchy’ pointing your hands in all directions, EXCEPT, at the current ruling oligarchy.
This is NOT Wall Street.
This is NOT Washington.
Although, these two bastards are its children. The corrupt financial oligarchy reigning supreme over this country, that which you shall not name, is the Federal Reserve System. You have not mentioned this slimy and cancerous leech that is sucking the real wealth out of this country, and has been for over 100 years, filling the void where our hearts used to live with exceeding amounts of worthless paper.
-Why?
-Remember when the U.S. made dollars out of Silver?
You speak of campaign finance reform, and the political and economic establishment, and I thank you for this, but your aim is far too low. The REAL Revolution in this country is in reclaiming access we all have to the money that is OURS to begin with. We can print as much money as we need. There is no reason to be in debt other than to line the pockets of those international bankers who own the Federal Reserve.
“the Federal Reserve is an independent agency, and that means, basically, that there is no other agency of government which can overrule actions that we[the Federal Reserve] take.” -Alan Greenspan 2007
-Why are we paying a Privately Owned Bank, a state sponsored monopoly, to account for our money, paying them undue interest for an unnecessary service?
-Why aren’t you pointing your fingers and hands in their direction?
-Is the Office of the President of the United States, as Greenspan says, powerless against this, most accurately described, State sponsored Ponzi Scheme?
-Are you afraid physical harm may visit you, and the U.S. at large, for parading the villain in front of the people?
-Remember what happened to JFK after signing Executive Order 11110?
-Will you sign a similar Executive Order placing the U.S. back on the Gold Standard?
Your promises for increasing minimum wage, although noble, are already devalued, and continue to be devalued each day, by way of the secretive and silent operation of “Quantitative Easing.” I will illustrate my point through analogy:
The price of Food and Water are the same for all people, yet the true cost of these necessities is different for everyone, the highest cost shared among the lower classes.
-If the Minimum Wage is increased to $15/hr; how long before QE3, through its unregulated and unending operation, devalues the dollar to a point that $15/hr next year is equal to $8 today?
-Wouldn’t voiding the Federal Reserve Act of 1913, returning the accounting of our money back to the people, who will do it diligently and at government pay rates, adjusting the inflation rate as to make it steady and reliable, no more engineered BOOMs and busts, wouldn't this be more equitable for U.S., and ALL people alive on Earth; wouldn't this make more of a difference? Than, promising more paper?
“In America should people be financially distressed for decades for the crime of trying to get a higher education?” -Sen. Bernie Sanders 2016
-What kind of present and future would we have if all college debt were zeroed?
-Would removing this amount of debt from the current economy impact anyone negatively other than those who capitalized on the debt?
-Can we afford to free the future from the saddle of corporate and individual greed?
-If Law is so integral to ensuring the freedoms we enjoy, why isn’t a basic understanding of Law, and how to use it; a requirement to graduate high school?
All in all, you are running a smart, important, and classy campaign. I would vote for you if I wasn’t so dismayed at the REAL problem being left in the shadows.
-If You don’t address this problem, then who will?!
-If not Now, when?!
I believe in you and the heartedness you bring to each public encounter. Please read my words and find that same heart, desirous for change, bleed through my prose. I know you are a busy busy person and this letter is not only for your eyes. However, like you, I believe the interconnected lives of diverse backgrounds are essential and imperative to ensure our individual security both at home and abroad.
You are the candidate that can do this! I believe the momentum is behind whatever direction you choose. I urge You to plot a new course, a Newer New Deal, and do avoid the same ol’ loop-holes, where justice always seems to disappear in. You have everyone’s eyes and ears, maybe we take on Goliath this time, eh Commander and Chief?

To Every Candidate,
And Everyone,
