To the writers of Arrow, This letter is regarding the recent death of Laurel Lance on Arrow. I'd like to understand the creative perspective of the show, and understand and respect your creative choices without bashing any other characters and focusing mainly on LL. So here it goes. Firstly I'd like to congratulate you for a very solid few episodes. Especially 4x18, it was raw, emotional and heartfelt and I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be speaking for only myself when I say I was genuinely touched. With that said I was also greatly disappointed and upset with the choice of Laurel to die. From the very first season Laurel has been underused. Comic books and canons aside , because I do realise your works have originality and are meant to be creative interpretations, Laurel was a...

Dear Arrow writer's room, I am writing due to the death of Laurel Lance. I believe that her death was a bad decision and honestly was the victim of poor writing. Laurel was used to fill the grave spot that was set up in episode 1 of season 4 (because, as you admitted, you had no plan so you had to choose a random character). When the time came to put someone in the grave, you chose Laurel. The only character (in my opinion) who does not belong in the grave, not because she's my favourite (it's Thea if you must know), not because I hate another character more, not even because doing a show about the Green Arrow without the Black Canary seems as wrong as a Batman without Alfred, but because Laurel was the only character still growing. I'm no writer (as you can probably tell by...

How many of these have you been getting lately? It's kinda ridiculous but add this one to the pile. First off, I want to say how incredible Arrow's success has been, and how elated I am to have been someone that got to see it happen. Ratings up in the fourth season? Not a very common thing. To me, the writing is continually improving. I never trust in EPs because I've been bitten so many times before, but I always take the Arrow writers and EPs out of that generalization because, by ANY normal standards, the writers have delivered and surpassed all expectations. Now this is my personal story, but I did feel like sharing, since it seems like we are content just winning the show awards to get it more publicity while people who apparently don't own a remote and don't know how changing the...

Hello, hope all is well. Firstly, I wish to congratulate you on a letter without any death threats to anyone. I mean that. But it's time for me to tell my story. Like most people who read your letter, I had a good laugh, shook my head, rolled my eyes then moved on with my life because frankly, I've heard this all before. But then I found out that Marc read your letter and I realized I had to write this. Arrow also took over my screen and quickly became my favorite show because Mericle, Guggenheim and everyone involved have managed to make me fall in love with these characters. Now it's absolutely ok to have your likes and dislikes, Lord knows I do. We all do. It just means we're human. It also means that we're biased. If you love a character, you will love them even if they just...

Hi my name is Mali and first of all I want to thank you for producing and writing such a fantastic tv show, this has been, at least for me, my way to disconnect from real world and enjoy things I ever liked, like comics. As a person whose main job is television related I always knew that tv shows based in comics are that: tv shows that take ideas from comic books but that write their own path, and from that point ai always knew where was I getting myself into. I stayed and I will stay here, watching it, enjoying it, as much as the rest of the fans because the story is compelling, we connected with it, we still do, and we know there’s a lot more places to go, I mean there are 52 earths and I am certainly you can always find things to keep us here, watching Oliver struggle with his...

I doubt any of you will ever read this, but I need to at least try to let you know how you shaped a huge chapter of my life. I'll start from the begining, when I was 21 I got pregnant for the first time. I was full of nerves and excitement, but it wasn't to be. When I should have been 10 weeks pregnant I had went for an ultrasound after some bleeding. The scan showed the baby had passed at 7 weeks. I was devistated, the emotional and physical pain was all but unbareable. But I fell pregnant again quickly and that helped to numb the pain. The pregnancy was relatively normal other than fainting daily. I had to leave work early and spend most of my time in bed on rest. It was then that I found myself filling up my days by watching Supernatural. I'd never seen it before, but fell in love...

Dear ken, Last month, in an interview, you made comments about how you'd like to see Marilyn Manson kill himself. True, there are others that share your opinion, but you and those other people are total dicks, and not only that, but you are a terrible person for making those comments. It's been 5 years since you left Manson's band, said you wished him and the rest of the band well, but yet, you contradicted yourself with these cimments and you are going on about how much you hate Manson. Why? Why can't you let bygones be bygones and just move the fuck on, regardless of whatever happened? Seriously! You are a big fucking baby, just like donald trump. Attacking people, acting like you are hot shit and that everyone owes you the world. Well, news flash, nobody owes you shit, but...

Dear Fish, Last month, you made comments in an interview and stated you want Marilyn Manson to kill himself and how you want to dance on his grave. Many people may share that opinion, but they are total dicks (and so are you), and not only do these comments make you a total dick, but also, it makes you a terrible person. It's been over 10 years since you left Manson's band and got your shitty settlement, and yet you are still going on and on about how much you hate Manson. Why? Why can't you let bygones be bygones and just move the fuck on? Seriously! You are a big fucking baby, just like Donald Trump. Always attacking people, acting like you are hot shit and that everyone owes you the world. Well, news flash, nobody owes you shit, but somebody does owe you a big hefty boot in the ass...

Dearest Jules...After watching your show yesterday afternoon, I was left with the sound of bitter criticism chirping across Heritage Court. Some said "too commercial," while others said "Urban Outfitters." My comment? You were simply "Jules." Sure, it is easy to make an Isabel Marant comparison, but you shouldn't be criticized for being a knock off when you are making what you love - since when does it make sense for one person to monopolize a market? Don't they know you tirelessly worked for Roots, one of the largest sweat pant outfitters across Canada? As if you don't know what you are doing. In fact, I was so in love with your basics from fall/winter 2010, that it was a pleasure to see a grey short sleeve classic crew neck sweater with a fastened cuff-sleeve for spring/summer. It...

"Bad mother," "useless," "worthless," "a waste of time, money, breath, energy, space, and life," "liar," "crazy," "bitch," "stupid," "unworthy of love," "unworthy of you," and most of all, "hated." --all names that I have been so harshly called by you, all names that I have been ruthlessly forced to hear and subjected to believe, all names attached to scarring meanings that I have had to emotinally endure. All derived from and strung together by you - someone who I used to love so. With every single ounce of semblance that I had inside of me. Even more than my entire being could truly fathom. Nothing in this world hurts a good mother more than being called a "bad mother," especially when I have done every single major and minute possible thing in my small power to be the best mom that I...
