I served this country a total of 21 years just to be told my ptsd is not service related and my back issue is not service related when it is clearly in my medical files

thank you for your support I 'm 100 presents disable unable to work now because my wife works, I cannot even get a non-service-connected pension and I will be 65 in September

I do not know if it was not for my faith in God and Jesus, I just do not know what I would do my country has failed me and many more veterans

Yes, he filled out all my paperwork in sent it in he himself is a retired veteran

Did he mention appealing it, or how to proceed further?

Why should my wife income be factor in just for me to get help from my country yes now I'm asking what my country can do for me, because I did for my country. yes, I'm going to appeal it but that can take up to 5-7 years according to the VA site

I don't understand what your wife's income would have to do with YOUR benefits. You served our country and should be compensated accordingly

The 2 people the VA sent me too for an evaluation was probably not born or was still in diapers no I'm not that just a permanent solution to a temporary problem my country failed me and many others

I pay out of my own pocket with my own insurance just to be seen by a back and spine doctor and to see a therapist for ptsd I love my country, but do my country love me.

It certainly doesn't feel like it when you're claim is being denied, especially if it's all right there in the medical records

I can understand feeling defeated and wanting to give up, but I hope the Veterans Service Officer has a game plan

I guess because I was hit by a car at the age of 9 this is what was causing the issue if so, why they let me into the military

Yes, I agree they have medical from UCLA-Medical center-SPINE ONE-Medical center-SKY RIDGE-Medical center-MY DOCTOR-and their own files
