I’m saddened, sickened, disgusted, and hurt by the way some (not all) Hillary supporters are acting. They want to make change and make things unified, but I flip on the news, look at Facebook and I see the exact opposite. I see people being shot, beat up, yelled at, and called “bigots”. Where is the love in that? Many say “Love Trumps Hate” so show the love, do not show the hate. They are contradicting themselves when they say this because they are showing so much hatred towards their family, friends and country when they call a trump supporter a “racist” or a “woman hater”. I am a woman, and I am in no way a “woman hater” or a “racist” When are people going to learn that change starts with ourselves. No president, vice president, Secretary of State or anyone in the political sector is going to make a change to our beliefs and values. People are revolting against their own country; this in no way says “love”. Many Hillary supporters were saying they were “ashamed” of Trump supporters. Well I’m ashamed of you, for taking such radical and hurtful actions. We are the United States of America. United and with your actions we are divided! We are FREE to have our own beliefs and values and we should not be hurt because of them.
PRESIDENT Trump does have a lot of proving to do, but so does every president! The same thing was said about Barack Obama and there were many things that Republicans and Democrats were not happy with during his presidency. He did do some great things, but he also hurt a lot of Americans with Obamacare and his high prices for health insurance. Why can’t we just sit back, relax and hope for the best? We need to support President Trump and hope for his success, because one who hopes for failure will only see failure in themselves. As Hillary Clinton stated, “He is our next President, we need to be open minded and hope for his success.” Open your ears and listen people! She is right, he is our next president, we need to be open- minded and hope that he succeeds for the sake of ALL Americans!
Just one more thought, if you burn the American Flag, you should be locked up and in prison. The American flag is the symbol of our freedom and for those who fought and died for our freedom! I bet most of you don’t even know what the red, white, blue and stars stand for on the American flag. Shame on you! Well here is a history lesson for you! White signifies purity and innocence, Red, hardiness & valor, and Blue, the color of the Chief, signifies vigilance, perseverance & justice, the stars represent the 50 wonderful states of the United States of America. Many men and women fight for our country every day, and when you burn the flag, you disrespect every servicemen and women that ever lived and fought, and died for this country.
If you are carrying around a “Love Trumps Hate” sign or even posting it on any social media, you need to remember what LOVE is, because running around and yelling, hurting and injuring anyone is not love. That is hate. There was hate in this world before President Trump was elected, so saying that this is the cause of the division of the United States of America is completely false, you are just igniting a new flame and dividing our country even more. President Trump in his acceptance speech said that we need to come together and be united, and be great. Let’s bring love back together no matter what your political views are.
It’s not President Trump that should scare people. It’s the hatred and carelessness of those who are against him and think that violence is the answer.
Love does trump Hate. So where is the love? All I see is hatred, and it’s not from our next president. It is from the many Americans who are supposed to make this country great.
