“BEING A JAMMUITE IN J&K”
1. Jammuites help/welcome people from other region of J&K when they are in trouble eg. Kashmiri Pandits in 1990, now a days Kashmiri residents.
2. Even though Jammu has only one Medical college still people from adjoining regions are welcomed here for medical treatment.
3. Temples are attacked in Jammu region still no outbreak of violence e.g. Recent Aap-Shambu Mandir incident.
4. Even though Jammu region provide large number of Army officers, Our heart beats for India - we are ignored in all party meeting, in fund allocations. Still we always respect our democratically elected govt.
5. 70% of youth from other region of J&K study here. Jammuites treat them as their own children.
6. Various JKSSB and JKPSC exams are pending from last many years due to problems in other regions.
Note:- The below points are real strength of Jammuites. We Jammuites are proud to be ‘secular’ and ‘cosmopolitan’ region because “mazhab nahi sikhata aap mein ber rakhna”
Apart from above I request my Kashmir division brothers and sisters please give up violence and let’s make J&K a PARADISE again. Together we are everything and individually we are nothing.
