It's sad how we no longer respect each other when one of His commandments were "Love your neighbours like you love yourselves". I am personally not a supporter of same sex marriage or LGBT, but it angers me to hear and see that the people who degrade them are the same people that claim to have been "cleansed" by the mercy of God.
I am not standing up for the LGBT community, but for what I believe in.
I am proud to say I'm a Christian and I KNOW that God only made a man and woman.... But if we JUDGE and CONDEMN other people because of what or who they are, AREN'T WE DISOBEYING GOD TOO? We all claim to be 'strong, devoted believers in Christ' when we FAIL to obey his simple rules, to RESPECT and LOVE each other. We go to church every Sunday, listen to His message, but that DOES NOT MAKE OUR SOULS ANY CLEANER than the other people's, more importantly the LGBT's. I hope everyone realises that the more they do this.. The more LGBT would eventually despise God.. Or even just that slight chance of getting to know Him. Instead of shaming and condemning them.. Why don't we just pray for them, ask for God's guidance for us to be used and bring them closer to Him? Ever thought about this? NO. We have been too busy pushing them further instead of dragging them out of the darkness..
