Dear Korean fans of Park Si Hoo,
Our dearly beloved Park Si Hoo’s case is legally and officially closed. TV stations, production companies, and the like are biding their time to see if and when he would make a comeback to the entertainment world.
Park Si Hoo himself has said he has made acting his lifelong profession. He saw himself acting well into his old age.
After struggling for 10 long years, through innate talent and sheer hard work he has finally made it to the front ranks of Korean actors. He has even transcended Korea and become a Hallyu star who is immensely popular in Asia and even the rest of the world.
We represent his international fans from 176 countries who are regular visitors of http://parksihoo4u.com. We are his admirers from all 5 continents of the world who have come to love him as an actor and as a man, a good man. We have watched with dismay the way his case unfolded. Now that it is resolved, we are looking forward to seeing him on the big and small screens again.
But it does not seem likely he will appear in dramas or films any time soon. We understand of course that he will need to take a good long rest. But are there external factors that will prevent his return? Why is he branded when he has not committed a crime? Why is he still being punished when he has been through 3 months of hell? Why will the media not leave him alone? Why is there talk of sanctions in the leading TV stations?
We will do anything to help him, but what can we do? We’re calling on his Korean fans to make themselves heard. Korean netizens can influence public opinion. Lots of antis left nasty messages on various cafes to condemn Park Si Hoo while the case was running its course. Now that he is free from accusations, please counteract those negative noises by writing positive things about Park Si Hoo. How about taking back the Park Si Hoo Gallery on DC for a start? It is a shame DC was hijacked by the antis. It belongs to Park Si Hoo and Park Si Hoo fans. We should fight to regain our ground.
We may not really understand Korean society and culture, but business is the same all over the world. Business people just want to make money. There is no doubt Park Si Hoo is still a hot commodity. One example is the number of cinemas in Japan which are scheduled to start showing “Confession of Murder” from June 1 keep growing because of demand. We bet if Park Si Hoo makes another movie now, tickets will sell like hot cakes. But who would be brave enough or far-sighted enough to cast him in a movie now? How do you convey the fact that Park Si Hoo still has great market value to the people in power in the entertainment industry in Korea? It is up to you Korean fans to do something.
The TV stations are watching to see viewers’ reaction before they will cast Park Si Hoo in a new drama. Korean viewers, not international viewers. You are the ones who count, who can contribute to ratings, who can really help Park Si Hoo resume his dream of acting. We appeal to you to do whatever you can to let the whole of Korea know the whole world is eagerly awaiting another breathtaking performance from one of its greatest actors. Write to the TV stations, write to the media, write to the entertainment circles, write to your Minister of Culture, write to everybody and every organization who/which can have some bearing on Park Si Hoo’s return to the entertainment world.
If there is anything that we (his international fans) can do, all you have to do is say the word. Maybe it’s not a bad idea for Park Si Hoo to make his comeback by holding a fan meeting for his fans all over the world. We will come to Seoul to show our love. And Park Si Hoo can show the big bosses in Korea the depth and breadth of his fans’ support.
