Dear People Of America,
America really need some change! In so many categories! Of course, as a country, America has one of the best living situations— we have so many opportunities, equal rights (yes do not fight me on this—— on a literally level it is completely true!), and this country is considered to be a rich country! So yes, for people who want to complain “I hate America” all day, just know that in comparison to countries around the world, we are SO LUCKY and so may people aspire to come to America for the sheer opportunities and lack of oppression alone! Actually I would imagine that many foreigners would find it surprising that so many Americans take on the victim mentality of “we are pressed”, weather it be female “oppression”, racial “oppression” (yes even white males consider themselves opressed at times), or whatever else. Because truth be told, you can complain endlessly about the “oppression” you experience as a woman for example being called a “slut”—— but honestly we are so lucky and need to pull our heads out of our butts and see this! Lol! Because where we are focused on the minute frustrations of our overall blessed lives, such as occasionally maybe some of us are called “sluts” for example by certain men (no not all men of the same mentality nor have all females been called words of this nature), girls overseas are truly being forced into slavery prostitution from incredibly young ages, being denied ACTUAL rights such as education, and truly living the “oppressed” life you Americans whine on about all day—— news flash—— we are not “opressed” in this country, and if you do believe so, just know it is to a MUCH milder level than that of overseas! Much of the oppression here is nothing more than emotional, and emotions can be changed on the drop of the hat! We must chose to stop looking at things from such an emotional lens, stop the hypersensitivity, get logical, realize how lucky we are, and focus on topics that truly matter and are relevant! Because how on earth can we all be living in the same country, under the same rights, and some of “our kind” (aka black female, aka black man, aka white woman, aka asian woman, etc), be living so well, and overall thriving in a system “we are pressed in”, whereas others are living “opressed”???? Sorry, but if it is possible for ONE, it is possible for all! Instead of looking at President Obama, or Ben Carson, or Sean Combs, or Kanye, or Jay Z, or Beyonce, or Condaleza Rice, Gabby Douglas, Simone Bials, or Hilary Clinton for you “opressed white women”, as the “exception”, look to them as what can be done! They show what is possible! They may come from the same place as you, have the same “oppression” as you, however, look at what they have become! Let’s look at these people as what we can accomplish and aspire to be like them! That is one way in which I think we have it wrong— instead of focusing on raising our children (yes our children aka black, white, hispanic, asian, female, male, etc), to be confidant, have self esteem, feel powerful, see the world for what it CAN be, we instead focus on teaching them what the world IS today, and we teach them their limitations in society, their role, the way "others" will view them, we teach them how to play the game, we tell them to internalize, instead of teaching them how to change the game, instead of teaching them they DO have the power. And on top of this, we need to teach children to NOT stick with the “status-quo” as per that High School Musical song lol. We need to NOT tell children to ONLY look up to people of their “kind”, we need to stop categorizing people and let go of the limitations we stubbornly hold on to! It is funny how the most “progressive” people in the world are now telling us, the way to move forward in society is—— to stick to what we know! Aka avoid cultural appropriation, aka it is okay to hate and spew hatred against “the oppressor”, aka it is okay to walk around with unrelenting anger, aka it is GOOD to be angry, it is OKAY to hate—— so long as you are hating “the opressor” of course though! (oppressor—— aka white people, aka ALL men, aka straight people). What is funny is how once, we had the most amazing man, MLK living on our planet, and he provided us with one of the most important quotes! “hate can’t drive out hate, only love can do that” something like that lol. And so why have we forgotten this?! Why don’t we live by this!? He is one of the most important figures in American history, who we all mourn for every year, who we all wish could have lived so greatly, yet we chose ourselves to not keep him alive by not listening to the wisdom he has left our world with! He left us with a legacy of focusing on LOVE not HATE, yet we ignore that, and focus on how it is okay to hate! NO! It truly NEVER IS!! And cultural appropriation? We live in a world founded on the term some of you endlessly reprimand! EVERYTHING is appropriation!! Everything!!!!!! It is called “copy cat” “ripping off” or “sharing”—— appropriation is simply a pretentious word for it. But regardless, appropriation is responsible for EVERYTHING we have today— EVERYTHING! And everything we have and do today, 99-100% of it was invented by somebody else. FACTS!!!! First of all, in terms of “appropriation”, one could say that the Asians “appropriated” cars from us once long ago—— Americans aka Ford started manufacturing cars—— in places like China, people biked around—— now Asian manufactures cars for so cheap, putting American brands at risk! Belly dancing is cultural appropriation? Then gymnastics is too. Gabby Douglas a black girl thriving in a GREEK sport?! How dare she!? Sushi is cultural appropriation?? Well so is rice! So is pasta! So people at the food pantry—— please put back the rice, put back the pasta, and KEEP TO YOUR OWN CULTURE! Keds style sneakers!? Give them back to America!!!! And so on—— and yes obviously this is highly exaggerated, but realize EVERYTHING is cultural appropriation!!! Every invention today was invented by either one person or a group of people. That single person or that group of people had a “race”. So what. We can all profit. Is it wrong for Russel Simmons to make money off of a meditation app, a practice OUTSIDE of his born culture? Is it wrong for Jadakiss to profit off a “juice bar” something white people are made fun of for doing? NO! It is not!!! Please stop! And of course I could go on and on and on but for now I will stop. If you read this thank you! Don’t fight back but you can share your opinion! Just keep an open mind please and I would be interested to hear what you have to say!
