Open Letter To Your First Car

It's time to say goodbye. The car that has stuck with you all throughout your High School and college years has now been traded in for something new. But it's not easy to part ways. This car has stuck with you through it all.

It was there for you when you got into your first accident. We know, we know- it wasn't your fault. But it still happened and your car took the brunt of it. But it's okay because you were able to fix your car by taking it to The Auto Shop. The repairs cost you about 500 dollars, but it was the best 500 dollars well spent. You car was back in action.

Your car was with you through your first couple of dates. It was completely reliable, it brought you and your date to the movies, a restaurant, mini golfing, ice skating, you name it. Although you were always worried that your car wouldn't start, you knew it would pull through when you needed it the most.

Let's not forget to mention that your car made it to all those late night taco bell runs. Whenever 12 a.m. rolled around and you were craving a taco, you knew you had a way to get there. You may have been running extremely low on gas, and by extremely low, I mean your car is running on empty, but you still got there and you were able to enjoy your favorite meal.

Also, it's been through some of the greatest Saturday nights. You drove all around your hometown searching for the next party with your highly intoxicated friends in the back seat. Those seats have seen it all, alcohol, unfortunately vomit, late night snacks, and a pile of clothes that you keep there. No matter how many miles your car had, it still kept kicking.

Then come the college years. You were so excited to bring your car up to school with you for your sophomore year. You finally didn't have to worry about calling a cab. Instead the money that you would have spent on a taxi, turns into gas money. Your car made you realize just how broke you were. You began to drop a ton of money on food because you were completely over the dining hall. Mcdonald's, mac n cheese, Wendy's, Panera, you name it.

You then finally land an internship, and you couldn't have been more excited. You knew your car would be the one to get you there. It has stuck with you throughout all the years, it wouldn't bail on you now. But then it does. Your first car's life has come to an end, and you couldn't be more upset.

It has stuck with you through everything. Through thick and thin, it was literally your ride or die. But now it's time to buy a new one and make more amazing memories.

So thank you, *enter your cars name here*, for being the best first car possible. No other car will ever compare to you.

Love always,

You Owner
