You're more than my hero, you were my first friend, my best friend, my No. 1 supporter, my fellow Chipotle-addict, AND my mom. This one is for you, Mom.
Dear Mom,
I want to first say how much I love you and that I am so grateful to have you as my mother. I can never repay you for all you've done for me and my brother and all of the sacrifices you made to ensure we had everything we needed. If no one believed in us, you did no matter what our dream was at the moment (except when you didn't support my dream of owning a zoo). Thank you for supporting all of my decisions, thank you for never judging me out loud for said decisions even when you didn't agree with them--yes, I mean the septum piercing and the tattoo. Thank you for being my shoulder to cry on. Thank you for all of the laughs and for being my guinea pig for all of my weird meals. Thank you for making sure I got a great education. Thank you for loving me flaws and all even when I was that awkward miniature person with the braces and glasses. Most importantly, thank you for always believing in me. There have been so many times when I didn't have faith in myself, but I knew without a doubt that you had faith in me and you knew I could achieve whatever I put my mind to even when I couldn't see it. You've kept me from giving up countless times and I am so grateful for that. I'm sorry for all of the times I got angry at you, for my attitude, even though I got it from you. I'm sorry for being grumpy in the morning and when I'm hungry. More than anything, I'm sorry for not appreciating all you've done for me enough. You mean so much to me and I don't know what I would do with out you. Thank you for being the Lorelai to my Rory. I love you, Mom.
Sincerely,
Your Daughter
