Hello Everyone,
I wanted to say thank you in an open letter to all of those who supported me during my time as President. I was very lucky and fortunate to spend time with a lot of fantastic people while doing something I really enjoyed.
Due to other areas in my life demanding more attention, I decided not to re-nominate for club president and I will be handing over the reigns to Joshua Jenner. I am certain you will support him as much as you supported me.
I would also like to once again acknowledge Bianca King’s contributions to AUG at this time. She stepped down pre-2015’s AGM (which is technically for 2014) and she will be sorely missed.
I want to also acknowledge Dan Aitchison our long-standing treasurer. He has done a fantastic job managing our finances allowing for a drop in our fees. I want to wish Dan all the best with his future child, which is the best reason to step down. I am sure he’ll make a great father.
I hope to see many of you continuing to be apart of UniSA Basketball. It’s a place to make life long friends and play basketball no matter the skill level.
