Dear Mr Trump.
Considering that I have never met you, I wouldn't like to refer to you as anything but Mr as that is the polite thing to do.
First things first, let's take a look at your policies.
Crime - 'legalise drugs to take the profit away from drug cartels'. Now forgive me if I am wrong, I don't see how this will take away profit from drug cartels. When you legalise drugs I doubt that it is going to be free, so all the drug cartels have to do is lower their prices and their target market will come flooding back to their door. You may want to rethink this policy.
Foreign Policy - 'close parts of the Internet to prevent ISIS from attracting recruits'. I would like to apologise because I wasn't aware that Internet was the only method of communication. You may want to do a little research on the concept of 'word of mouth'.
Immigration - 'Build a wall along the Mexican border'. If you are planning in 10 years time to have David Hasslehoff stand in a crane and sing, then I am afraid I can't support this policy. With all due respect I wouldn't support it anyway. In the world right now, people are being segregated because of the actions of a small group of people. If people are coming to America, then it is because they need help or because they have no choice. If that is true then maybe instead of focusing on stopping them from coming to America, you should consider the reasons of why and find a resolution that is better for all those involved.
Immigration - 'Temporarily halt Muslim immigration as long as the threat of ISIS persists' - I can't agree with this I'm afraid. I can't hold innocent people accountable for the actions of a rebel group. There are roughly 1.6 billion Muslims in the world and not all of them are members of ISIS. I grant you that some of them are, but instead of persecuting innocent people, why not try permanently halting the threat known as ISIS.
Now I know, that I haven't commented on all of your policies, but I think that four is enough for now.
All I can really say to bring this letter to an end, is this.
I understand what you are trying to do with your campaign, I truly do. But just for one moment, can you please focus on what you have the ability to do and tell us about your policies, instead of making remarks about what other people can't do, because Mr Trump, I'm sure that a lot of people can relate to what I am about to say, including you. No-one is perfect and as a human being, I can say that I am proud of that fact, because it means that we need to work together to be successful and for a country that is shaking in fear at the potential threat of a terrorist attack. I think that what America needs right now is a little unity.
Yours sincerely
Abbea
