AN OPEN LETTER FROM A BORN AGAIN DONALD TRUMP

Subject: AN OPEN LETTER FROM A BORN AGAIN DONALD TRUMP
From: Donald John Trump
Date: 25 Dec 2015

My fellow Americans,

I love you.

All of you.

And I am done with fear and hate. The old Donald got fired. I am new in Christ.

Yes, I discovered the glory of being forgiven and I have a few things to say.

Last night, Jesus looked at me and loved me. Exactly as he looked and loved the rich young ruler in Mark 10:21.

However, I am choosing to say YES to His invitation, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”

So here are I am. Giving everything away. And following Jesus to the end.

I also want to apologize.

I am sorry for using my platform to speak against the true heart of the Gospel. For pretending to speak for Christians when I was really speaking for myself.

I have encounter the grace of God and I am ready to follow the ways of Jesus, not just use his name to move the masses.

To my Muslim brothers and sisters, I repent. My heart is full of love and hope for you. I’m sorry for judging you from afar. I now see how close Jesus is to you, and although we see Him differently, He loves us all the same.

As-Salaam-Alaikum.

To all the women I have dishonored in the last few years, I repent. Jesus has made me see your value clearly. I’m sorry for making you feel small. Your voice and influence is indispensable and I will work for equality in the workplace.

Sorry Melania.

To all the hardworking Mexicans (and all other Latinos in this country) I repent. My words against you have been completely contradictory to the message of Jesus to welcome the stranger.

I welcome you. I celebrate the way you do family. And I am grateful for all the work you have done across my different companies.

To everyone who I have ever insulted or called a loser, I repent. Jesus was clear when he said, “Whoever insults his brother will be liable to the council; and whoever says, ‘You fool!’ will be liable to the hell of fire.”

I’m sorry for using my words to speak death and not life. From now onwards, and with the help of the Holy Spirit, I will use whatever platform I have to honor others, and even in disagreements, I will see all through the eyes of grace.

I have so much more to say, but I know this is journey is just beginning.

My campaign will probably take a break so we can review how to move forward to make America great again.

Oh yeah, it’s not even about making America great again, it’s about loving people from every tribe, nation and tongue, and learning to humble myself, so Jesus can be gloried before all.

I’m still learning. It might take a while. But I am ready for change.

Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound!

I have heard the voice of Jesus and will live by Matthew 25: 35, “I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me.”

Please keep me in your prayers.

Sincerely,

Donald John Trump
