You were so sly. You knew the way in.

I was naive and stupid.

I was immediately charmed by you.

It was almost too good to be true.

So what did I do?

I followed you, a snake. I followed you.

What I was left with was nothing.

You lied to the world about me.

You made me believe you wanted me.

And I did believe you.

You were true, you were nice.

But anytime I wanted you back, you recoiled like a child.

And you were angry at me.

Now I know it's because you wanted to control me.

I am sick by what happened.

I loved you.

But you never loved me back.
