Have you ever felt like you’ve made a terrible decision?

The reasoning as to, why I am writing this is because it was an assignment for me to do in my English class. I had to read King henry the V and write how it affects me and other’s in today’s world. the book I read was about a war between King Henry the V and France, Henry decides to invade France, but little does he know it is affecting the people who he rules and has control over, just before his fleet sets sail Henry learns of a conspiracy against his life.

The major event that led me to this was when he started to realize how it affected his men, not just physically but mentally. Another thing that led me to my issue was when Henry realized he had people out to kill him because of what he was doing. One of the major things that starts of in the beginning of the book is “it must be thought on. If it passes against us, we lose the better half of our possession.” I don’t quite understand this all the way but the basic idea is that if you don’t think on things it will eventually pass and you will wish you could’ve changed it and made things better for you and the people around you.

I chose my personal connection because when you don’t always agree with someone it can affect you and others around you and that is what happened when Henry decided he wanted to invade France people went against him. I chose this because even in today’s world it is a common thing that goes on when people go against you or believe what you are doing is wrong or isn’t right for you or the people it affects you chose to do something else, or you do what they want and you end up wishing you would’ve changed it when you had the chance.

I am writing this letter to anyone and everyone who has had a lot of stress or pressure put on them, from anyone with PTSD, or has felt guilt after doing things that make them question if what they did was right or wrong. This is still relevant in today’s world for sure because, even though people have stress or pressure put onto them with PTSD, they still wonder all the time if they made the right or correct decision. But it doesn’t just happen with people who have PTSD it happens with everyone, if you made a bad decision and later on you start to see a better way you always wonder if what you did was in the right or if it wouldn’t have made that much of a difference.

My main purpose of this letter is to show and explain to others what people with PTSD, go through. But it isn’t just them that have to go through it, it is their family as well because when people have a major disorder like that the people they are around are affected in so many ways you don’t even realize. People have to go through medications to help with stress, or go to therapy sessions which help some people but for the people who don’t get the help they are needing other things go on. Some of the things that go on are suicide, stress, killing others, and flashbacks that have happened before and are still going on today.

But now you have to wonder; If marines are killing people and are feeling guilty because, they don’t know if it is the right thing to do or not, should the people who “abounded” King henry V feel guilt or should they be satisfied with their decision making or be disappointed because it was what others were doing and they took after to be in that certain group of people or crowd.
