I still remember the night I fell in love with you. A brisk, beautiful, fall night. It was October 12th, 2015 and we had already been talking for some time at that point but you being more than a friend never was never raised to my attention before then. I recall haranguing you about going to the local haunted house attraction near by with our group of friends and you finally replied with a solid yes. I was the last to arrive and I noticed you noticing me walking towards you all. We all stood in a circle, me next to you not realizing by the end of the night you would be the reason for my heartaches many months later. We continued on to the ticket booth, then the actual attraction. I was not even with you during the actual haunted house because I was with my other guy friend who made me laugh the entire way through, but you would still win my heart. After the first of four sections we got a group picture and I still recall you saying, with a slight chuckle in your voice "we look like we're dating". and that was the first time I felt a flutter in my stomach. At this point I knew I was feeling something for you, but not quite sure what it was. When we were done getting the life scared out of us we all decided to go to Burger King to get something to eat because it was 10 pm and where else do teenagers go to eat at 10 pm?? We headed back to the cars and at the time I did not have my license and my best friend J said, "Alex you can ride with me" and as I was about to walk over I heard your voice "No, I can take her". I turned around. I did not want to hurt my best friend's feelings but something told me to go with you. "Ok!" I said excitedly as I got into your car. My other friend E was in the back so he kinda killed that romantic vibe, but I still got to sit in the passenger seat and enjoy my ride with you. We arrived at Burger King and you sat diagonally from me. That was the time we actually started to snapchat each other and that streak would go for a very long time. I just enjoyed sitting there and laughing, and overall being there with you. We left and E and I hopped back in your car and you had to go get money from your friend who lived in a small community near us. We traveled up blaring music and I had the best time of my life. At this point in time I knew you were fun, had the best humor, and could make me smile like no one else could. We drove back to my neighborhood, where you missed a turn to my house because you were going 70 in a 25 and decided a smart idea would be to drive in reverse back to that spot. We could not stop laughing, but finally, when you let me out of your car that night, I walked back to my house with a smile on my face. I don't know if that night meant anything to you, but it meant everything to me because that was the night I fell in love with my best friend.
