An Open Letter To : Linda Hamilton

Dear Linda,
Hope this letter finds you doing well. Let me preface this letter by saying that I have never done this sort of thing before.
I am a wife, mother and grandmother. I have followed your career since the King's Crossing days. Yes, I unfortunately just "dated" myself.

The main reason for this letter is to say Thank You for speaking out about your struggle with Bi-Polar disorder. I do realize that was a few years ago now. But, I recently went back and read all of your interviews on the subject.

Because of your courage and strength to speak about mental illness, we all know there's a stigma attached, I finally found myself in a Psychiatrist office asking for help. I will admit that I was terrified! After several hours it was determined that I am not Bi-Polar, although I could have sworn I am. I do however have depression, ptsd and anxiety. Currently trying different meds to get me back to normal, whatever that may be.

So in parting, you are my inspiration. And thank you again for speaking out. Looking forward to seeing you on the big or small screen in the very near future.

Sincerely,
Carla
