United States of America

We used to live in a country where we respected others’ beliefs, opinions, and perspectives. That is, until our great nation became fractured with hate and fear, due to the election that took place on November 8th, 2016. We are acting like the Confederacy did when Abraham Lincoln was elected, we are acting out of fear, fear that our great nation will come falling down. We need to open our eyes to the true reality, we are causing our nation’s downfall by letting fear and hate run our lives.

We need to ask ourselves, are we really going to destroy everything we’ve helped develop to satisfy our hate? Don’t only think of yourself but keep in mind our future generations, your kids and grand kids, do you really want them growing up in a war zone? We as a nation have to not only see ourselves as a group of segregated people that are divided amongst themselves, but much larger than that, the world. The United States had been leading the world because we were organized, we were in sync, and we had faith in our country’s decision. Why stop our ways now, instead of continuing to pursue them? Add another question

We need to lead by example rather than by hate and anger. That is what, in the end, will spur the United States to crumble into oblivion. Oblivion, is not what we as a country seek, for that is what we fear. What we fear, is what we generate. Let us stop this nonsense, let us fix what we have started before it’s too late. Don’t crush this nation, hand it to the next generation.

Let us stop dragging our nation back into the past, and let us start progressing forward, like our forefathers expected us to do. Arguing over different political views is irresponsible, and isn’t providing us with anything divine, only chaos. The responsibility of a stable nation lies within our decisions and actions alone. And those decision and actions are critical. As those define whether or not our nation succeeds. Our nation is strong, welcoming, and valuable. Let’s not change that, let’s preserve our nation. Instead of fighting, we should respect other’s beliefs and perspectives because in the end, all we have is each other. We have been trusted with the nation, it is a gift, not a toy. If it is treated as such, then it is guaranteed to end up shattered or lost. Civil disturbance, and destruction should be the last thing we witness see in the United States.

Let us thrive as a nation, as one, to change that. We shan’t disrespect, and dismantle our nation over different political perspectives and beliefs. We need to respect those who are willing to share their inner thoughts, even if you don’t agree you shouldn’t hate on them. We need to continue to live by the first amendment, and appreciate what others have to say, because we, might relate in one way or another. Follow the golden rule: Treat people the way you would like to be treated. In other words, bestow kindness and respect upon others, to receive the same treatment you offered. Our nation is like a bundle of twigs, alone we stand no chance against any might, but together, together, we are unbreakable, and that is how it should be. Like a cookie dipped into milk, our nation is being dipped into a river of hate and injustice. Just like our nation, once the cookie is drenched in milk, it crumbles and collapses. What happens to our country, is up to you, whether it tears apart and collapses or returns to it’s greatness and becomes the strongest the world has ever witnessed, depends on your actions.
