An open letter to you:
I've been thinking about this for a while, all the things that I've been wanting to say out loud but couldn't. I hope this letter finds you well and brings you the relief that writing it is bringing me.
What we went through was one of the best and worst times of my life. You made me feel so loved and important and for that I can not thank you enough, you made me feel so safe. I'm sorry for the position that we put ourselves in, the compromises you had to make for us to live the way that we were.
I don't regret anything about what we went through, we learned a lot from each other and we learned a lot about ourselves. I guess I just wanted to say I'm not upset with you anymore and I hope that you're not with me. I miss you friend and I hope you're well.
