An Open Letter to Reqwired Customers

Dear Client of Reqwired,

In 1999, both CE Manager and Reqwired entered the legal market with CLE compliance tracking software. Now, more than 15 years later, as Thomson Reuters discontinues Reqwired, it leaves one solid, premier choice on the market – the only one with over a decade of experience and expertise at calculating and tracking the complexities of CLE rules and requirements across the US – CE Manager. All that remains are newcomers to the market, with little experience at CLE compliance tracking or at CLE data conversions.

The strength of CE Manager’s CLE tracking is unmatched. It calculates CLE requirements – and all of their nuances – with detail and precision like no other software, in over 300 jurisdictions worldwide. CE Manager is the only software that is relied on by hundreds of law firms for CLE compliance tracking, including some of the world's largest global firms -- Skadden, Hogan Lovells, Kirkland & Ellis, Paul Hastings, Latham & Watkins, Mayer Brown, Sullivan & Cromwell, DLA Piper, Greenberg Traurig, Reed Smith, and Shearman & Sterling, to name a few.

More law firms have switched from Reqwired to CE Manager than to any other software, and our Implementation Team is very adept at the data conversion from Reqwired – ensuring a smooth transition for you. Converting the historic CLE data for hundreds -- or thousands -- of attorneys requires accuracy, close attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of the CLE rules. More than 50 firms have already successfully migrated from Reqwired to CE Manager.

Unlike other vendors, we will allow you to continue working in Reqwired after the initial CLE data import, while the data conversion is in progress. We will never ask you to track CLE on spreadsheets for a month or more during the conversion process, or to print out all of your attorneys’ past course certificates during the transition -- both of which would be major inconveniences to you and your firm.

Trust CE Manager’s track record. Don’t run the risk of making your firm a guinea pig – to a less than experienced and potentially prolonged data conversion from Reqwired, and to relatively inexperienced CLE compliance tracking software that is not widely used and has not stood the test of time.

All the best for a happy and healthy 2015.

Regards,

Derek Weihs
