Consumer Complaints

Apparently, jointly with the APhA and the ASHP, via MSNBC's Chris Hayes, Dr. Harmon is asking medical professionals to stop using Ivermectin to treat COVID-19, that there are other drugs that can be used, and "Ivermectin has not been shown to be one of those to be effective for the COVID-19 virus."... "right now the safest thing for you to do is take the current approved courses... If you require more treatment, there are established, safe, very well-approved treatments. Then they go on to say that Ivermectin is a deworming medicine for animals, which also treats lice, and some skin conditions. And then, they mention that doctors have reported success using it for COVID-19, talking about some study where continued use of Ivermectin for five years help treat patients with mild COVID-19...

Let me first say that I really appreciate that Alabama passed a law to prevent discrimination against people based on their vaccination status. Compared to what's going on in some states and other countries, it's a huge relief to know that government believes in freedom of choice and personal sovereignty. However, I believe there is still room for improvement as it relates to the message that is being pushed. I've seen multiple news stories where leaders are being quoted as saying that everyone needs to be vaccinated and that it's the quickest way to get out of this mess. Unfortunately those statements are inaccurate, and I challenge them to do the research. The fact is that the vaccines do not work. That can now be easily seen if you look at what has happened in the highly...

Dear Activision, Raven, Treyarch, and Infinity Ward, I am writing to you today as a lover of the games you have produced for years, and as a representative of the Call of Duty community. As a community, we love and appreciate all the work you do each and every year to produce a new game in the saga we grew up on. For most of us, our start in the Call of Duty franchise came in the late 2000s with titles such as Modern Warfare and Black Ops. We were in awe of these games and many of our childhoods are filled with the late night split screen zombies with friends, and the grind to reach each game’s highest prestige. As of late, the love for Call of Duty is dwindling in many of us. The community feels as though we are not being listened to, and each new installment is feeling more and...

Several times I reach out to the 800 number to talk to a representative about the product instead I talk to a dateline service bull sh*t .this isn't a way to business when a customer purchase a product from your company and you give customers a turnaround . You should be reported to the better business personally that's my option to report sylvania to the better business bureau . What do sylvania have to say to yourselves about screwing over a customer for profit!? I take a little blame should have contacted sylvania kept my receipt where I can turn it back to your company for a full refund . You have some new products out right now just...

To non-paper straw users… Why are you so upset when you have to use a paper straw? They’re here to help with the environment. Sure they may get soggy in your drink or have an odd taste but the way they taste or how they hold up in water isn’t why they are made and used--They are here to help reduce the amount of plastic that is around the globe in our trash, our water, and our animals. I work at a fast food restaurant which has a drive through. So naturally, a lot of people order a beverage to go and need a straw to drink said beverage. Recently however, my store switched over to paper straws as a way to reduce the amount of plastic that is used there. Everything was fine with the change… until people who dislike paper straws came in to eat or came through my drive through. It is...

To the various companies and businesses that supply us with food, I first and foremost thank you for providing nourishment and sustenance to mankind; your role in all our daily lives is certainly an important one. We literally couldn’t survive without you. You have evolved and we’re now faced with brighter packaging, advertisements, and more promising products—you’ve changed the game for us all. However, I must admit that not all of your practices sit well with me; there are some aspects that I found to be quite distasteful, especially those that involve marketing. In my English class, we were recently challenged to ask a difficult and uncomfortable question and search for the answer. I asked: are food labels really beneficial for the consumer? Or are they actually for the benefit of...

I am writing on behalf of over 100 individuals who have fallen victim to a scam PayPal company. Despite all of these people raising the issue to PayPal (from around 15/11) and proving beyond doubt that this is fraudulent activity, PayPal are refusing to refund people their money. We will only get part of our money returned, if the received product (not what we have ordered) is sent by tracked mail to the return address on file. The return address was written in Chinese, and when run through an online translator, is for a completely different company - which is therefore also part of the scam. Despite pointing this out, PayPal are still adamant that no one will be paid until paying extra money, to ship the unwanted item to a fake address. Even though PayPal are aware that the...

An Open Letter to John Hanke and Niantic Dear John Hanke and Niantic Staff Members, I will not be long-winded about my own background from my youth up as I have neither the time nor the energy (literally which I’ll explain below), but I will simply give you a synopsis of the situation and the consequences facing your impending action on the shocking news I just heard about your plan to do a massive banning on those who spoof on Pokemon Go. First, allow me to present a very brief background: I started to play Pokemon Go shortly since it’s initial rollout in July of 2016, because my daughter, who is still in grade school, was interested in playing that game. Like most kids, she was enamored with watching Pokemon on TV from her youth up till now and thus she, like most other kids...

A young girl totaled my vehicle. I wasn't given the "fair market value" for my car even after relentlessly arguing with her insurance. Once they told me what they were giving me for the vehicle, they said I only had 3 more days with the rental car. I had very little time to purchase a new car and I didn't even have the money in hand from the insurance company. I found your Jeep Compass listed on Craigslist and it seemed like a decent deal. I came to drive it and had to bring my son with me. You knew I was a single mother without much money and I even had to borrow the money from family. You still sold me the car knowing that it was not worth the $4750 that I paid for it. I didn't have anyone available to come check out the car with me and I couldn't wait another day; I bought this...

To the employee at the Panera in Augusta, Maine who attempted to Mom-Shame me because my four year old had a tantrum, Your open condescension and judgment of my parenting choices was both obvious and unappreciated. The comments made, almost under your breath, to your coworker right in front of me were neither subtle nor appropriate. While I do understand that no one enjoys hearing the screams of a four year old mid-tantrum, any parent would be able to confirm for you that tantrums do in fact happen, many times in public. My situation this afternoon was not unique. Yes, you were correct that my child was loud, disruptive, and poorly behaved. He was also removed from the restaurant once the situation escalated to a tantrum. I took him to the car where the tantrum ran its course....
